Maui mom Karin Frost just wanted a better baby carrier for her son, so she sewed one by hand. Other moms took notice and wanted one too. Karin launched her company ERGObaby and began sewing them one by one. Within a few short years ERGObaby would grow to become one of the largest baby carrier companies in the world. And it started all right here, on Maui. Update: Karin sold an 84% stake in her company ERGObaby for a reported $91 million. She will remain involved, developing new products.
